Recognize a Haines Community Builder!

WHAT IS THE COMMUNITY BUILDER AWARD? The Haines Borough Assembly will now annually recognize an individual, organization or business entity providing unique, positive contributions or efforts to the quality of life for residents of the Haines Borough.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE? Individuals, organizations or business entities in or serving the Haines Borough.
 

HOW ARE THEY NOMINATED? Any Haines Borough resident aged 16 or older may nominate an unrelated (either personally or professionally) eligible nominee using the attached nomination form. Complete the form and submit it to the Haines Borough Mayor by the deadline.
 

WHAT IS THE DEADLINE? Nominations will close October 31.
 

HOW WILL THE WINNER BE DETERMINED? The Borough Assembly will meet in executive session to review nominations.  The successful nominee will receive at least five (5) affirmative Borough Assembly votes.
 

WHAT DOES THE WINNER GET? At the first meeting in December, the winner will receive a Mayoral Proclamation and a $1,000 award.
