UPDATE- School Graffiti Threat Update- author found

10/20/23 Update: The investigation has identified the individual who authored the threat. At this time, the Police will be decreasing their security presence at the school. So far, the investigation has determined that there is NO active threat at the school. Click here for PD 10-20 Press release.

The Haines Borough Police Department continues to investigate graffiti found in the Haines School bathroom threatening a school shooting on 10/19.

There is increased police presence at school this week while they investigate this incident in partnership with school administration and external agencies. More information will be provided as available.
